Real-Time Bird’s Eye Surround View System: An Embedded Perspective

Bird’s-eye surround view is a new type of Advanced Driv er Assistance System (ADASs) that provides drivers with real-time 360∘ top-down their vehicle. This paper presents an architecture for system based on Tensilica Vision P5 embedded DSP. Fish-eye cameras mounted each side vehicle are employed in the proposed model. The able to cover entire around overlapping areas between neighboring cameras. We use morphing approach joint lens and perspective correction view. For stitching frames from different cameras, we assume fixed geometry which permits off-line calculation frame transformations, thereby reducing processing load. To further reduce computational complexity, employ lookup-tables blending phases. core combines four XGA resolution into single at 30FPS.
